Food Distribution

Hot, hygienic, freshly cooked meals for those who would otherwise go hungry.

Food Distribution
Program overview

Food Distribution

No one should sleep hungry. Our food distribution drives serve freshly cooked, nutritious meals to homeless people, daily wage workers, patients' attendants outside hospitals and families living on the margins.

Meals are prepared in clean conditions and served with respect. Our volunteers make regular rounds of areas where hunger is most visible, and we organise larger community meals during festivals and special occasions.

A single meal may seem small, but for someone who has not eaten all day, it is a reminder that they are not forgotten.

What we do

  • Regular hot meal drives in underserved areas
  • Meals for patients' attendants near hospitals
  • Community bhandaras on festivals and special days
  • Food packets during emergencies and cold waves
  • Strict hygiene in cooking and serving
  • Celebrate occasions by sponsoring a meal drive
