Helping Blind People
Sight lost to cataract can often be restored, and life without sight can still be lived with independence and dignity. We work on both fronts — preventing avoidable blindness and supporting people who live with visual impairment.
Through eye screening camps we identify people with cataract and other treatable conditions and help them reach surgery. For those who are blind, we provide white canes, braille and audio learning material, and support in learning everyday skills.
We also stand with schools and organisations that serve visually impaired children, helping them with supplies and volunteer support.
